YAKIT A chat client designed to improve awareness
in communication while preserving the fluidity and comfort of use in current
chat clients. YAKIT provides the following features: context for threaded chat,
editable posted chat, and markup for combining text and emotion (MyText) in

language designed to be used in text communication---specifically, text
messaging, instant messaging and email. MyText allows the user maximum
flexibility and efficiency in a shorthand, on-the-fly, personalized, text-style
markup.

XMLPipeDB Started as a class project in Spring
2006, continued in the Summer 2006 and was accepted as a
poster at ISMB 2006. My contribution laid the
foundation of the end-user application called GenMAPP Builder which uses other
library packages that are part of the XMLPipeDB tool chain to extract and
construct a GenMAPP database from XML gene data (SourceForge
website).

Engine A web-crawler written in Java, designed to crawl and index specific
domain names---for example wikipedia. The goal was to experiment with web
crawling and to create smaller portable versions of prominent web data.

Scene Sketch Software to create storyboards with
for films, plays or general planning from custom sketch libraries---written in
Java.

Compare Tool A comparison tool for text data sets
which do not map one-to-one. Using regular expressions, the tool administrator
creates a profile/scheme for comparing texts by creating general mappings
between them. The tool outputs HTML reports based on the input texts and the
comparison scheme---written in Java
In my spare time I like to do things like swim, bike, go to
the beach, cook and eat good food and spend time with friends and family.
